Profile

Your personal account in Console — name, email, avatar, and account settings — separate from any one business.

Overview

Your Profile is your personal account inside Console — your name, email, avatar, and account-level settings. You reach it from the user card at the bottom of the left sidebar (the one showing your name and email, e.g. 'Saiket Dash · [email protected]').

Why it's separate: in Opsfly, the person and the business are different things. Your profile is who you are — it follows you across every business you belong to — while a business holds the business's data, agents, and billing. Changing your profile affects your account everywhere, not just the business you happen to be viewing.

What it can do

Your details

View and update your name and avatar — how you appear to teammates across the businesses you're part of.

Login & email

The email tied to your account (e.g. [email protected]) is your sign-in identity and where account notifications are sent.

Account settings

Manage account-level options such as password and security from the user-card menu.

Sign out

End your session from the same menu on the user card.

How it works

Your profile is attached to your login, not to any single business. When you open a business, Console combines your profile (who you are) with that business's membership (what you can do there). Because the profile is account-wide, updating your name, avatar, or password applies no matter which business you switch into. This is also the 'user profile' that Copilot can read when you ask account-level questions in chat.

  • User cardBottom of the left sidebar — your avatar, name, and email. This is the entry point to your profile.
  • Profile menuThe icon on the user card opens account settings and sign-out.

💡 Tip: Keep your profile email current — it's both your login and where account-level alerts go. It's distinct from the business's contact details, which live with the business, not your profile.
